Permobil has introduced new rigid and folding aluminum-framed manual wheelchairs — the TiLite Z and TiLite X — to replace its popular Aero Z and Aero X models. Both chairs aim to offer low weight, durability and adjustability in a package likely to be approved by most insurance providers.

The TiLite Z is a monotube rigid manual wheelchair with a transport weight of 11.3 pounds. It features frame markings and hole patterns that allow you to precisely adjust your seating position, and a Precision Lock Caster System designed for quicker and more accurate adjustment of your casters. TiLite also has redesigned seat and back upholstery for faster tension adjustment, easier cleaning and improved comfort.

The TiLite X is a folding wheelchair with a 12.1-pound transport weight. The frame of the TiLite X features single-piece side frames and oval tubing in the cross-brace for increased strength and durability. The GearLock Caster System is intended to make it easier to align the front casters. The TiLite X features removable or flip-back armrests that you can adjust to change the pads’ height, angle and depth.

Both the TiLite Z and X are customizable and offer a variety of new color options. For more information, visit Permobil
