I finished my run, and then Andrew was off to work. 10 miles with Jess at 8:18 pace. Isn’t it amazing how we get the gift of coming home from a run feeling SO much better than when we left? I left feeling like a zombie and like I could sleep another 10 hours for the first few miles yesterday and then came home feeling ready to take on the world.
Beck and I hit up Chic-fil-A because it had been at least 2 weeks since our last fill there.
My kids are 10x more excited about after school snacking if it involves a cupcake tin.
Curly told me the other day she was craving our favorite chicken noodle soup on top of mashed potatoes, which made me crave it and need it for dinner last night…

*Andrew asked me if I want to run my age in miles on my bday this year like I did when I turned 33… ummm no. I don’t even want to drive my age in miles this year;).
I’m tired just looking at my watch pic from that year.
*The girls and I have been practicing writing with our other hands… Andrew and I are both lefties and still confused about how none of our kids are, too.
*This is the chocolate aisle of the market near where we will be staying in Marseille, France. Brooke’s grandparents are working hard to find the best one, and we will benefit greatly from their findings next month.
*Most of our hens have hit henopause, and with the price of eggs, we are definitely going to be getting some baby chicks this spring. Anybody else?
*I accidentally opened one of my birthday presents, forgetting that Andrew told me not to open any presents. I’m savoring every page. The amount of fondue and raclette I’m going to be eating here…
