LAKE Pajamas are my absolute favorite sleepwear. I’ve slowly accumulated pieces over the years and added two sets to my mix-and-match PJ collection. Here are my favorites!

You may have heard of LAKE Pajamas before. LAKE makes what I would consider high end (based on the price point!); really luxurious, beautiful sleep and lounge wear. I first fell in love with them after buying one of their lightweight robes. It became such a staple for me, I followed with a set of pima cotton pajamas. I was gifted a set of the wide leg PJs, and then I recently added two more sets to complete my collection. Here are the reasons why I love LAKE Pajamas along with the sets I own and how I mix and match them for warm and cool nights.

LAKE Pajamas Review

LAKE’s tagline is “the softest pajamas imaginable” and they are correct. These are thick yet soft. And its the thickness of the pima cotton that I like the best!

I don’t like PJs that cling, droop, or cut in tight. They have to be the perfect mix of sturdy yet soft. LAKE gets that equation exactly right! All four of the sets I own are their pima cotton line. They also have a Dream Modal fabric, but that is a bit more of the clinging style so I haven’t tried them. I can only speak to the pima collection. If you’ve tried the Lou and Gray line from LOFT, these feel similar.

They also have nightgowns, seersucker, a baby and kids line, men’s, lounge sets, and even “real clothes.” Maybe one day I’ll get the family all matching pieces!

The prints and patterns are all so pretty. And sort of by accident – my collection is all the same color palette. This was a very happy accident because now I can mix and match short and long sleeves, pants and shorts all year round.

Sizing and Care

All of the pieces I own are smalls. I’m usually somewhere between sizes 4 and 8, small to medium, and I am 5’2″ tall. I feel so lucky that these pajamas are not too long for me because so many pants drag on the ground when you’re my height! I would say that the sets run a little on the small size when it comes to length (so if you’re 6″ tall, a small would be too short!), but in width they are true to size.

While some of you may like to read the tags on your laundry and follow the rules, I am a “toss it all in one load and dry on high” kind of woman. So I literally put my pieces through the ringer. They shrink a tiny bit at first, but I haven’t noticed any negative effects from doing the basic laundry routine.

My LAKE Pajamas Sets

Pima Scallop Pants Set in Navy

The neckline of this set makes it gorgeous! They also have the scalloped neck in nightgowns and robes.

Pima Tank Long Set in Hydrangea

This was the first set I owned. The neckline is slightly different in the latest version. I would recommend starting with a bundle set so you get both shorts and pants!

Pima Long-Short Set in Americana

Love this one! I got it for winter actually because I like to have my shoulders warm when I read at night. Plus: mix and match baby!

Pima Crew Wide Leg Pajama Set

I think this set is my favorite of them all because it’s the most versatile. And the cropped wide-leg pants are awesome!

Mix and Match!

I’ve been mixing and matching based on how warm/cold it is and how I’m feeling at bedtime. Tank + wide leg pants or all long sleeves!

Pima Short Robe in Hydrangea

My gateway in! LOVE this robe so much for spring / summer / fall! (We know how much I love my teddy bear robe for winter!)

Where To Buy LAKE PJs

While the company is based in Savannah, GA, there are two stores you can visit in Atlanta and Charleston. On my bucket list to go to one someday!

A great time to buy them is during periodic site-wide sales. And they often have great finds on the sale page too. See all the best-sellers here.
