A simple runner’s joy comes from when you are putting on your shoes, and you realize they match your top almost perfectly. Anyone else love when this happens? PS I LOVE these trail shoes (I’ve told you before they are my #1 trail shoe), and they are only $49 right now! They were much more expensive when I bought them. The grip is unreal with them. They aren’t bulky but still protect you from feeling rocks while being light enough to really get moving in them.
I haven’t been on a trail since September. I am positive that my runner’s high increases by 22.4% after a run on dirt. I am so grateful to be back. Injuries sure remind you how lucky we are to be able to run and move. 1100 ft of climbing over 8 miles will leave me sore for quite some time.

Taco Tuesday at El Tio Tacos with some friends hit the spot. Their grilled shrimp taco is the best taco I have ever had.
Welp, this was hard.
My niece leaves for her mission today and so we said our goodbyes yesterday. She is going to be so missed.
We all needed a walk after that experience.
Spring came early for us (even though I know it is just a fake spring and we will have about 5 more fake springs before the real spring).
I’ve been pretty consistent with yoga now and my body is officially craving it now. I did some yoga while we watched the end of The Truman Show.
