I have some STORIES for you today…

*I just realized Brooke is the age I was when I first started running. My sister was going for runs, and my mom sent me with her because there is safety in numbers. Little did my mom know running would someday be one of my greatest joys in life. Brooke usually plays defense in soccer but tested out mid-field at her tournament this last weekend and did really well, so she wants to add some running to build up endurance for this position.

*Yesterday was a no-run day, and I did a 45-minute Peloton class and some upper body strength afterward with Beck.

*I don’t remember if I told you this story or not, but let’s pretend I haven’t. Rewind a few months ago, and we went to Chic-fil-A with my sister and niece. I was getting a refill inside when we were all done, and my sister and Andrew walked out of the restaurant first. My good friend saw Andrew and thought my sister was me (due to the fact our hair is the exact same color right now), and so she came up behind my sister and tickled her sides (thinking she was surprising me). My sister turned around, scared to death because she didn’t recognize my friend, and then I walked out and saw my friend’s face turn to PURE RAGE. Once my friend saw my sister’s face without seeing me anywhere, she assumed Andrew was out to have lunch with another woman. We all laughed very hard once things were explained! It’s hard to tell us apart from behind:

*Andrew’s taper for his bike race has started and hearing him talk about it has my stomach in knots, and I’m not even the one racing!

*Where are the Nikes on the banned Ironman Shoes?

*We’ve been preparing for all of the croissants we are going to eat in France by eating TJ’s frozen croissants that you let rise and bake. They are so good, and the almond ones are even better.

*The thing I remind myself of when someone says something mean on the internet. I’ve come to terms with the fact that I am not a taco.

*This week’s long run fuel. For those of you who love sour gummy candy, try these immediately.

*If we ever see escalators, we end up going up and down them at least ten times before leaving.

*Andrew and I did some massive spring cleaning, and Knox claimed my St. George Marathon shirt.

*We got a shock potato for our house, and I don’t understand why they love this game so much.

*Libby blessed me with two books that I’ve been waiting in line for all in one day. Laundry is going to go by so quickly today.
