Our fluffy banana stovetop oatmeal is a morning favorite! It’s made with rolled oats, mashed banana, chia seeds, and a little bit of maple syrup.
If you ask me, this amazing oatmeal tastes just like banana bread, but in oatmeal form! I can’t wait for you to make this and love it.
“Addicted to this recipe. Made it twice now and I can’t get enough. Love the flavor and texture!” — Heather
This recipe reminds me of college when I first fell in love with oatmeal for breakfast. Banana stovetop oatmeal was my go-to because I knew it would keep me full all morning and I could get so much volume out of one serving (thank you chia seeds and extra almond milk).
Why make stovetop oats when you can just make them in the microwave? I know it takes longer to make, but once you make oats on the stove, you’re never going to use the microwave again! Stovetop oats have THE best texture. They’re so fluffy and satisfying and they pretty much melt in your mouth with every bite.
