American trail runner receives OnlyFans sponsorship

The Internet site OnlyFans, which is widely known for mature content, is bouncing into the running scene.

On Monday, OnlyFans announced it is sponsoring American trail athlete Sabrina Stanley, making her the first runner to represent the website where creators from various fields can share exclusive content with fans and subscribers.

The two-time Hardrock 100 champion said in a press release that she couldn’t be more excited to join the OnlyFans team of athletes and creators. “This sponsorship allows me to share my journey in new and exciting ways while continuing to push my limits in the mountains,” said Stanley. “I’ve wanted to be an OnlyFans creator for years. Now, I’m proud to represent a platform that supports athletes like me and prioritizes safety, inclusivity and the empowerment of creators.”

According to the brand, Stanley will share exclusive behind-the-scenes content from her training, racing and day-to-day life on her OnlyFans profile, granting fans unparalleled access to her life as a professional trail runner. The content will be tailored to workout tips, race preparation and the highs and lows of training, along with offering what the brand says is an intimate look into the life of an elite trail runner.

Stanley has made a name for herself by winning some of the most rigorous ultra-trail races in the world. Some of her top accomplishments include two victories at the Hardrock 100 (in 2018 and 2021), two consecutive top-10 finishes at UTMB Mont Blanc (in 2023 and 2024) and a win at the Grand Raid La Réunion/Diagonale des Fous (170 km) in 2019. She currently lives and trains in the mountains in Silverton, Colo., and says she will be donning the blue and white OnlyFans singlet at races this year.

OnlyFans has sponsored a number of other athletes in various sports over the past year, including French tennis player Alexandre Müller, Olympic bobsled champion Lisa Buckwitz, downhill mountain biker Stefan Garlicki and UFC fighter Charles Oliveira. Several Olympic track and field athletes use the platform to connect with fans, including Canadian Olympic pole vault bronze medallist Alysha Newman, who has been outspoken on how the platform helped her build up her savings.
