Good morning! Your birthday wishes yesterday and reading about what fulfills you lately meant a lot. Thank you for your friendship. I am very lucky.
We started things off with snuggling, cards, and gifts. I am beyond excited to start this book that Andrew gave me.
We got the kids to school, and then friends came over for a run. There was a snow storm that started basically the second we finished the run. A maple bar was the perfect finishing treat.
I had a massage and then tacos (and a quesataco which I highly recommend) of course, for lunch. The owner knows us by name at this point.
My mom came over and I wanted her to watch some of my favorite The Office episodes with me.
And my sister came over, too!
We finished the day with the whole family doing yoga together, ordering pizza, the hot tub, and the final episode of Beast Games. Andrew exceeded all of my (very high;) birthday expectations. He said he has already started planning for my 40th;)

*My teeth are pretty sensitive, and when a friend told me about these strips and how they didn’t bug her teeth in the slightest, I had to try them. NO pain and I have absolutely noticed my teeth getting whiter with them! Love love love.
*12 seconds after smelling this hair and body mist at my favorite things party, I purchased one online for myself. You feel like you are in Hawaii with this perfect mist’s smell.
*I adore the oversized Abercrombie sweatshirts, and this Game Day one is cheap right now! I’m a touch under 5’9″ and wearing a small, and it is quite roomy. I’m waiting for the carbs and walk club ones to go on sale!
*Nike is up to 60% off today at Nordstrom!

I want you to know you aren’t alone today if it is a hard one for you. I’ve had some very very lonely Valentine’s Day’s over the years, and if you need someone to talk to, I am 1000% here for you. I hope you are able to feel loved by family or friends or other runners you see out on the roads or your neighbors or your coworkers or a significant other or your favorite checker at the grocery store today. Eat chocolate, go on a run, email me, and read your favorite book if you aren’t looking forward to today! Remember, the sun always comes up.

-One time I had a date scheduled for Vday when Brooke was 2 or 3 years old, and my date never showed up. I was POSITIVE that I was stood up and ended up at dinner with my mom and quite angry… only to find out the next day that he had actually gotten lost on a hike, and search and rescue had to get him! He was totally fine, and I was happy to find out I wasn’t actually stood up.
